It's Not So Scary!
What will my first visit be like?
Everyone at our church was a first time visiter once. We know what it is like. We remeber how the "unknown" made us nervous.
So... if you know what to expect, its not so scary.
Here is what we would've liked to have known before our first time visit. You still have to take that first step through our door but we think this info will make it easier.
What will NOT happen on your first visit
- We will not embarrass you by calling out your name during the service.
- We will not embarrass you by asking you to stand or wave "if you are new."
- You will not be asked for money.
- You will not be pressured to join the church - we do not have membership.
- You will not be uncomfortable because of what you choose to wear.
- You will not be confused about when to sit or stand, etc.. The worship leader will give instructions throughout the service.
What you CAN expect on your first visit
- Parking - Let's get our worst out in the open first thing... we have city street parking only. We will try to keep a guest space open for you right near the door. WE OFFER VALET PARKING, so if you do not like the parking choices, just pull up to the curb and bring your keys to the greeter and he will take care of it for you.
- Free Valet Parking - in case you missed the bold letters above, we're telling you again. It's FREE - We do not accept tips.
- Someone will meet you at the door and help you know where to go.
- There will always be plenty of seating near the back of the church - even if you are late.
